Joseph Simboli Rejoins CSI

Joseph "Joe" Simboli, is a known fixture in the NYC water treatment industry has joined CSI as an Account Executive. Joe is responsible for customer relations with the many HVAC contractors that rely on CSI for prompt and accurate help on pricing water treatment for new construction and renovation. Joe will manage and direct water treatment for some of CSI's most important Real Estate and Commercial Clients. In Joe, mechanical contractors and building managers will find an indefatiquiable resource for water treatment and mechanical knowledge, as well as a personable and capable customer relations manager.

Joe Simboli has over 33 years of experience in all facets of the water treatment industry.

Water Services Laboratories, one of the pioneering firms in the treatment of water systems in New York City was acquired by Olin Corp. In 1972 shortly after this merger Joe joined the fledgling Olin Water Services as a water treatment technician. From the beginning he took on an important role as a mechanic and trouble shooter.

Joe's skills and his great rapport with customers led to his promotion to service supervisor overseeing major facilitates in the New York City area. Joe became Olin's point of contact for many of their most important HVAC water treatment accounts.

Joe moved on to Consolidated Water Conditioning in 1977 where he continued his role as a special accounts supervisor and lead man for large or sensitive projects. Among the projects he participated in at Consolidated Water Conditioning were NYC Police headquarters, Macy's, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and many others.

For the last 5 years Joe has been with for Ashland/Drew Chemical as an Technical Sales Manager with direct responsibility for the treatment and waterside maintenance of critical HVAC systems including .

I asked Joe what he finds most rewarding about his time in the water treatment industry; he told me the following;

"My career over the years has given me the opportunity to travel among the Eastern seaboard states. More recently, I have managed water treatment services for large facilities within New York City such as: NYSE, Dow Jones, NYMEX, Met Life Building and many large real estate management company locations. I enjoyed being an instructor for a 5 year period to the Local #94 Operating Engineers Training Facilities for the NYS-DEC certified pesticide applicator recertification course. I was fortunate enough to be featured in a Legionella information package produced by a global chemical treatment organization which was distributed world wide."

"In February of 2005 I joined CSI as an Account Executive. Looking forward, it is my goal to bring CSI to the forefront within the water treatment industry using the expertise and knowledge acquired over the past years."

In addition to over 33 years direct field and laboratory experience Joe has taken part in training by some of our industry leaders including; Author and heating guru Dan Hollohan, Bernie Granite, and many others. He has studied applications of steam and hot water heating, waste water, co-gen applications, recirculating water design, condenser water treatment, Legionella Risk Management, EPA registered pesticide application, and numerous management, sales and audit compliance courses.
