CSI's
Analytical Testing Sevices
We offer a wide range of laboratory and testing services supporting
the needs of Building Engineers, Facilities Managers, and HVAC contractors.Drinking Water Testing
CSI technicians collect samples for compliance with the EPA's Safe
Drinking Water Standards. These tests include bacteriological testing, physical
parameters, metals, and screening for common solvents and pesticides.
Duct Testing and Inspection
CSI's National Air Duct Cleaning Association, Certified Duct
Cleaning Technicians supervise the collection of samples for testing the adequacy of
cleaning in compliance with the NADCA duct cleaning standard. CSI also provides Video and
Borescopic Inspection of Duct Interiors which provide a direct view of interior conditions
in air handling systems and a video record of those conditions.
HVAC Antifreeze Testing
CSI tests the levels, inhibitor condition, freezing point and
adequacy of Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol based antifreeze solutions used in HVAC
Systems.
Process Water Testing
CSI tests and evaluates Condenser Water for inhibitors and water
side conditions which are critical to avoiding corrosion and scaling problems in building
systems. We also provide microbiological testing for Legionella, anaerobic and aerobic
bacteria, and sulfate reducing bacteria. We provide testing of waterside conditions in
Boiler Water and Closed Recirculating Water Systems
HVAC Fluid Testing
CSI provides testing services for critical fluids in heating and
refrigeration equipment including Refrigerant Oil Testing, Freon Testing, Lithium Bromide
Testing and Fuel Oil Testing.
Corrosion Monitoring
CSI provides and evaluates Spool Pieces and Corrosion Coupons for
monitoring corrosion rates in water systems.
Piping Evaluation
CSI field technicians perform ultrasonic
thickness monitoring and borescopic inspection of the interior of piping systems using
state of the art equipment to provide you with a non-destructive means of evaluating
piping and system conditions. Our laboratory performs analysis and evaluation of piping
samples to determine the nature and extent of corrosion damage, fouling, and scaling.
